Environmental Impact

Here at ACE Services, we specialise in the use equipment that has passed all current environmental objectives to keep the carbon footprint of your office or home to a minimum.

For the business user, we endeavour to use equipment that has been registered with the environment agency and qualifies for the government ECA scheme where you can reclaim 100% of the installation cost during the first tax year, as opposed to 25% per year over a number of years. For the private customer, as long as the unit installed is a heat pump, only 5% VAT would be payable. This is because, during the heating mode, for each kw. of energy used, approximately 2.5/3kw. of heat is produced as opposed to conventional electric heating where for each kw. used just 1kw. of heat is produced. This makes heat pumps very efficient for heating and qualifies them for the lower VAT rate.

All of our engineers, whether carrying out servicing, installation or maintenance are experienced and have the relevant training and all carry a refrigerant safe handling certificate.
